UBA series devices generate water jets from a spray head that rotates around a vertical axis.
They feature an advanced design with a simple friction motor that moves the head slowly. This low rotation speed allows the jets to maintain maximum efficiency, as they don’t break into droplets, resulting in a higher impact force on the tank walls. The head can also be designed with an upward-facing jet to clean the tank roof area around the feed pipe, a commonly challenging spot, achieving a full 360° spray coverage.
The main advantages of this product include superior cleaning power, faster cleaning cycles, and reduced volumes of cleaning solution. UBA washing heads come in two sizes and offer three different jet patterns, as illustrated in the diagram below. Depending on the feed pressure, the rotation speed ranges between 5 and 12 rpm. Thread connections are available in both BSP standard (indicated by a G in the code) and NPT standard (indicated by an N in the code).
The UBA tank washing head is designed to accommodate a variety of nozzle types and configurations on its head, including flat fan and straight nozzles. Any customizations will affect performance compared to the standard values listed in the table, and these will be specified on a case-by-case basis.
Our UBA tank washing head is also available with ATEX certification, valid only for materials such as AISI 316L stainless steel and Alloy C22. The washing liquid temperature must not exceed 90°C.
