Air Atomizers
An air atomizer is a device that atomizes liquid using gas.
The process of atomizing a liquid with a compressible fluid, such as air, steam, or gas, is known as two-phase, dual-fluid, or pneumatic atomization.
The key advantage of air atomizers is their ability to produce extremely fine droplets, making them ideal for highly precise applications. However, they are more prone to clogging, which is why the use of filtered air and water is recommended. Additionally, due to the high velocity of the atomized jet, pneumatic atomizers typically cannot achieve wide spray angles. To address this limitation, atomizers with multiple orifices are used to ensure better spatial distribution of the spray.
