MW – 1/2″ Flat Fan Spray Nozzles
The MW series 1/2″ flat fan spray nozzles are designed for applications requiring higher capacity spraying while maintaining precise atomization and uniform coverage. They are available in multiple body types to suit different operational requirements:
- MW Body Type “A” | Basic Body: Standard nozzle for general applications.
- MW Body Type “B” | Shut-Off Needle: Allows quick on/off control of the spray.
- • MW Body Type “C” | Cleaning Needle: Designed for easy cleaning to maintain optimal performance.
Pressure Principle – Internal Mix
Flat Spray 1/2″
These larger-capacity internal mix atomizers operate under pressure-fed conditions, ensuring reliable and consistent spray formation. The liquid is mixed internally within the nozzle to produce a flat fan spray pattern. Approximate spray dimensions and performance data are provided in the accompanying tables. These internal mix nozzles are ideal for applications where a controlled, uniform spray is required over a larger area.
Pressure Principle – External Mix
Flat Fan Jet Spray 1/2″
External mix 1/2″ nozzles separate the liquid and air paths, allowing them to mix outside the nozzle. This enables atomization of higher viscosity liquids and provides the flexibility to independently regulate air and liquid pressures. The result is a controlled, adjustable flat fan spray that maintains consistent coverage even with challenging fluids, while also simplifying cleaning in case of deposits.
