MW – 1/4″ Full Cone Spray Nozzles
The MW series 1/4″ full cone spray nozzles are engineered for precise atomization and complete coverage in various spraying applications. They are available in multiple body types to meet different operational requirements:
- MW Body Type “A” | Basic Body: Standard nozzle body for general applications.
- MW Body Type “B” | Shut-Off Needle: Allows quick on/off control of the spray.
- MW Body Type “C” | Cleaning Needle: Facilitates easy cleaning to maintain optimal performance.
- MW Body Type “D” | Clean and Shut-Off Needle: Combines shut-off functionality with integrated cleaning capabilities.
Pressure Principle – External Mix Full Cone
Full Cone Spray 1/4″
The SUF external mixing spray setup for pneumatic atomizers generates a full cone spray by combining compressed air and liquid at the nozzle outlet. This design allows independent adjustment of air and liquid pressures, giving precise control over atomization. In external mixing nozzles, the air and liquid are expelled through separate orifices and only mix outside the nozzle, which simplifies cleaning in case of deposits or buildup.
Main advantages:
- Suitable for spraying more viscous liquids, such as oils, without uncontrolled atomization.
- Reduced tendency to clog due to the nozzle geometry.
Pressure Principle – Internal Mix Full Cone

Single-orifice internal mix nozzles produce narrow-angle, full cone-shaped atomized sprays with a typical spray angle of about 20°. Spray lengths range from 2 500 mm to 9 000 mm, depending on the nozzle type and operating conditions.
Pressure Principle – Internal Mix Wide Angle Full Cone
Wide-Angle Full Cone Spray 1/4″
Multi-orifice internal mix nozzles create wide-angle, full cone sprays by combining several narrow-angle sprays. The resulting spray angle is approximately 60°, with spray lengths ranging from 1 500 mm to 10 400 mm, depending on nozzle type and operating conditions.

These nozzles are designed for liquids drawn from containers at ambient pressure, either by siphoning or gravity feed. Performance tables provide water flow rates for both suction head (blue background) and gravity head (white background) conditions. Spray length and coverage vary according to nozzle type and operating conditions. The MW 1/4″ full cone series is suitable for applications requiring controlled atomization, uniform coverage, and flexibility across pressure-fed or gravity-fed systems.
