MX MINI – Flat Fan Spray Nozzles
The MX Mini series 1/4″ flat fan spray nozzles are compact, high-performance atomizers designed for precise flat fan spraying in a variety of applications. They are available in multiple configurations to suit different operational needs:
- MX Mini Type “MA” | Double Air Inlet
- MX Mini Type “MB” | Double Air Inlet
- MX Mini Type “NA” | Single Air Inlet
- MX Mini Type “NB” | Single Air Inlet
Pressure Principle – Internal Mix
Flat Spray 1/4″
These single-orifice internal mix nozzles produce flat fan-shaped atomized sprays. The liquid and atomizing air are mixed internally before leaving the nozzle, resulting in uniform coverage and a consistent spray pattern. Spray lengths range from approximately 1,800 mm to 5,200 mm, depending on the nozzle type and operating conditions. These nozzles are ideal for applications requiring controlled, precise spraying.
Siphon Principle – Internal Mix
Flat Spray 1/4″
These siphon-fed internal mix nozzles are designed to operate with liquids drawn from containers at ambient pressure, either via siphoning or gravity feed. Performance tables provide water flow rates for both suction head (blue background) and gravity head (white background) conditions. Spray characteristics, including length and coverage, vary according to nozzle type and operating conditions.
Pressure Principle – External Mix
Flat Fan Spray 1/4″
External mix MX Mini nozzles separate the liquid and air paths, ejecting them through different orifices so that atomization occurs outside the nozzle as the two streams collide. This design allows the atomization of viscous liquids or liquids containing solids that could otherwise clog internal mix nozzles. Additionally, air and liquid pressures can be independently adjusted, providing precise control and stable, repeatable spray performance. The MX Mini 1/4″ flat fan series combines compact size, flexible configuration, and reliable atomization, making it ideal for applications where precision, consistency, and the ability to handle challenging fluids are required.
