UBD – 3/4″, 1″, 1-1/2″ Thread
UBD rotary heads utilize a unique design that enables exceptionally uniform water distribution, ensuring optimal surface coverage. This feature results in very short washing cycles while using less water, which is particularly beneficial in applications where recycled water cannot be used and disposal volumes must be minimized. UBD heads operate using Teflon slide bearings that float at high speed over a thin film of water, with the only wear part being an easily replaceable Teflon washer. A small fraction of the liquid energy powers the washing head, while the high-speed rotation of the disc generates a spray of high-energy droplets across the tank's inner surface. The innovative design of this device requires no maintenance at all, and its straightforward construction makes sanitization quick and easy. Models with 3/4″, 1″, and 1-1/2″ connections can also be equipped with NPT threads, although the height (H) may vary slightly.
UBD – 1/4″ Thread
This variant of the UBD range features a 1/4″ BSP male thread and is designed without bearings. The rotor is entirely made of Teflon, minimizing friction and eliminating the need for lubrication. Due to its compact size, this head is ideal for cleaning the interiors of small tanks containing non-viscous residues. Models with 1/4″ BSP connections are equipped with Teflon rotors.
For ATEX products, the washing liquid temperature must not exceed 90°C.
